Had COMFORTABLE stay in the winter time, the staff were lovely, location was magnificent in the nearby mountains. They provided a delicious and wonderful breakfast with view towards Fez. We got king room and enjoyed it. Location: the hotel was right by which is very close to Fes for a look-around, the caves where people still live- which from the outside look like normal houses and Fes, Meknes, Sefrou, Ifrane, Azrou.

The small village in which this guesthouse is located is a real treasure, as several guest reviews stated. Located in a quiet area, it allows for a peaceful retreat to enjoy Moroccan culture. In the market situated nearby, visitors can get a taste of local crafts and delicacies. the ideal place to take a break from the hustle of Morocco's larger cities and enjoy the indigenous culture. This guesthouse is perfect, prepared to spearhead eco-travel in the village.
The litter in the vicinity might upset the visitors.

The place is enchanting with tasteful decor. The host, Kamal, went above and beyond, waiting until 1am and saving dinner for us due to a punctured tire. He also helped with car repairs. The charm of the room was complemented by Kamal's insightful knowledge and multilingual abilities. A truly memorable stay.

A hidden gem in a charming village. I was lucky to stay at this beautiful guesthouse. The house itself is cozy and beautifully decorated. My room had everything I needed, and the breakfast was the best I had during my time in Morocco. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality of the hosts, who went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. Despite a few small drawbacks, I highly recommend Dar Kamalchaoui for a unique and authentic stay in Morocco. I had a fantastic time and would definitely visit again.

The rooms at Dar Kamalchaoui have a charming traditional décor that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The private bathrooms were a great convenience, and I loved the fact that they had either bathtubs or showers.- The free Wi-Fi access in the rooms allowed me to stay connected and catch up on my favorite shows.- The views from the rooms were absolutely stunning, whether it was the majestic Atlas Mountains or the picturesque town.- As a disabled guest, I appreciated that the rooms had detached private bathrooms, providing me with the needed space and comfort.
Personally, I found the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms to be a bit weak at times. However, I understand that others might not be as bothered by it.

the rooms were comfortable with hot water and heating available. the location allowed for easy access to nearby towns for exploring. Kamal also hosted some great outings - we enjoyed the hike and market visit.
Some of the food felt overpriced when compared to other options in the area, and there was a bit of a plumbing issue in our room.
